I was invited to have lunch with Pastor Kim, Mrs. Kim & their beautiful family at their church in Anseong yesterday. The Kims adopted 3 children domestically and also have 1 biological son. The congregation welcomed me with a song, and I spoke with the Kims about the blessings of adoption and some of the shared experiences and challenges that both international and domestic adoptees face. President Park Geun-hye on Tuesday said her government will strive harder to support overseas South Korean adoptees through an array of programs, including those to help them better understand the language and culture of their motherland.
